Catootje & Obelix

Welcome to Daycare Catootje, located at Kerkweg 1A in the heart of Wognum. We provide small-scale childcare for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe and relaxed atmosphere. Our location features a spacious outdoor area of over 700 m², where children can play and explore freely. In our garden you will find a small petting zoo with goats, chickens, rabbits and birds, as well as an apple orchard. This natural environment stimulates your child's curiosity and development. At Catootje we work with a permanent team of professional, enthusiastic and committed pedagogical staff. We use both horizontal and vertical groups, with a maximum group size of 16 children. We follow the legal standard for the number of children per caregiver. We offer flexible childcare, with care available Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with the option to extend until 7:00 PM including dinner. We are open 52 weeks a year, only closed on official holidays. We believe it is important that children can develop in a familiar environment. That is why we offer preschool education (VE) and work with a parent portal that can be used free of charge via smartphone, tablet or computer. Diapers are included in our care. We have an operating license and are affiliated with a branch organization. We also participate with the Broad School, which provides a good connection to primary school. At Catootje, the focus is on enjoying play and development, in an environment where your child feels safe and at home.
