Bzzzonder De Brink

Bzzzonder De Brink is a welcoming after-school care centre located right in the heart of Nijkerk. We share a roof with Rehoboth primary school, so children simply walk down the corridor after lessons to a familiar place full of friends. With 40 regular places, the setting stays cosy and personal; siblings and neighbours meet here every afternoon to fill their free time with whatever makes them happiest. The afternoon always starts with a cup of tea and a quiet moment. Children swap stories about their school day, grumble about maths or laugh about playground adventures, then curl up with a book on the sofa if they need to unwind. After that the fun begins. We make grateful use of the large schoolyard with its ping-pong tables and climbing frames, the grass field for sack races and kite flying, and the spacious indoor rooms for drawing, crafts or board games. Dirty knees and muddy boots are not seen as a mess, but as proof that new experiences have been had. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready with a listening ear, a creative idea or an energetic game of dodgeball. We believe every child develops at their own pace; our role is to offer both space and structure so that everyone can flourish. Reading stories together, playing outside, moaning about a tricky sum or proudly showing off a good grade – it’s all part of the day. Parents receive the occasional photo through our parent app, but we prefer to tell the stories live at pick-up time. That way your child goes home not only smiling, but with a head full of tales to share.
