Bzzzonder Bergkwartier van Effenlaan

At Bzzzonder Bergkwartier van Effenlaan in Amersfoort we create a home-like place every day where school-age children from 4 to 12 feel completely at home. Our after-school care is located at Van Effenlaan 10, within walking distance of De Bolster Primary School and Op de Berg Primary School. We pick the children up straight from the schoolyard, so they come directly to our spacious, cosily furnished rooms without any fuss. We believe every child develops at their own pace and in their own way; therefore we offer structure and personal attention. Dirty grass-stained knees and muddy boots are not seen as mess, but as proof that plenty of new experiences have been gained. Our activities are varied and challenging: we play enthusiastic bottle-cap football, craft moments of “yes-I-can-do-it” and then flop on the sofa for an episode of Duckies. Every day we serve fresh fruit and vegetables, because you need lots of energy for all that outdoor play. We use a parent app to occasionally share a snapshot with a short story, but our attention is mainly live with the children so we can tell you in detail what we experienced when you pick them up. At Bzzzonder everyone is welcome, including children who need extra help, care or attention. We love talking with parents to look for possibilities together, so every child can be completely themselves with us.
