Welcome to After-School Care ZoWieZo Hoorn, located at Berkhouterweg 23 right next to football club Zwaluwen ’30. We provide professional care for school-age children from 4 to 12 years, both before and after school and during all school holidays. Our setting is designed as a homely place where children can develop freely. We follow the principle of “learning through play”: children choose what they want to do and our experienced pedagogical staff offer the right guidance and stimuli. In this relaxed way they grow in self-confidence, social skills and creativity. For the convenience of parents and children our free BSO taxi runs every school day to and from primary schools in Hoorn. We pick up and drop off children from OBS De Kersenboom, De Vlinderboom, De Wegwijzer, De Lichtbron, De Regenboog, De Vijver, De Klaverweide, De Windroos, De Horizon, De Triade, De Fontein, De Kring, De Springplank, De Tamboerijn, De Kameleon, De Klaproos and De Vlindertuin. This makes the start and end of the care day hassle-free. Our opening hours are generous: on school days from 06:30 to 09:00 and from 13:00 to 18:30. During school holidays we offer holiday care from 06:30 to 18:30, ensuring reliable care all year round. With a registered capacity of 30 places we keep the groups small and personal. At BSO ZoWieZo Hoorn every child quickly feels at home: there are few rules and plenty of freedom. Every day we provide a safe, challenging environment where fun and development go hand in hand.
