Buitenschoolse opvang Ratjetoe

At BSO Ratjetoe in Dordrecht, free time and fun come first. We believe it is important that children can unwind after a busy school day in a homely atmosphere. Our location at Van den Broek-erf 30 offers plenty of space to play and discover. The programme is tailored to age and development, so we can respond to the needs of each child. After school, every child can retreat to various quiet spots or do homework. Of course, there is also plenty of room to play together! Activities are carried out as much as possible in consultation with the children. What is more fun than coming up with something yourself and then actually doing it? At Ratjetoe we have two basic groups: the younger children and the older ones. By playing with friends of the same age, we can specifically take into account each child’s developmental stage. We adapt the layout and activity programme accordingly. During holidays, BSO De Bever and BSO Griffioen join us on Wednesdays and Fridays. Together we experience a new theme every holiday that matches the children’s development. Under supervision we visit museums, playgrounds or make other special trips. But the biggest favourite remains our camping week in the Biesbosch, where children can drop by for one or more days of fun activities such as climbing, canoeing and ending the evening with a cosy barbecue. Almost every Wednesday we organise the neighbourhood adventure, and this is open to all children in the neighbourhood. Together with the BSO children of that day we embark on a new adventure. Every child is welcome from 14:30 to 16:00. BSO Ratjetoe has a good cooperation with primary school Geert Groote. We are in regular contact with the school and also work closely with the neighbourhood police officer, youth work and the municipality. In addition, we work intensively with BSO De Griffioen and BSO De Bever. We pick up the children after school. We also offer before-school care. From 7:00 am we provide a cheerful start to the day.
