Maraboe

Welcome to BSO Maraboe, located at Tarbotstraat 18 in Helmond-’t Hout. We are part of Spring Kinderopvang and have provided after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 13 since 1998. Our setting is surrounded by greenery—right next to meadows and woods—so we often head outside to explore nature. BSO Maraboe operates two vertical groups. Children of different ages play and learn together, allowing older kids to support younger ones and everyone to feel at home. We follow the Spring Actief method: a varied programme of activities that we design together with the children. They can get creative in our craft room, build in the construction corner, play games in the home corner, or burn off energy in the gym area. Outside, we have a spacious garden with our own football pitch, and we are free to use the judo hall next door. During school holidays we surprise the children with a special activity schedule packed with extra workshops, trips and unforgettable experiences. Brothers and sisters from the day-care and pre-school groups—housed in the same building—can pop in for a hug or a shared game, making the move from day-care to after-school care feel familiar and smooth.
