Buitenschoolse opvang Kornak

BSO Kornak is the place where your child can go straight after school to a safe, homely and challenging environment at Benningskamplaan 60 in Uitgeest. We provide professional after-school care for children from primary school Kornak and from other Tabijn schools in Uitgeest. Our spacious, cheerfully decorated location has room for up to 80 children per day, divided into a lower-year group (4-7 years) and an upper-year group (8-12 years). In addition, we organise a SportBSO on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at primary school De Binnenmeer, where up to 20 children per day are introduced to various sports such as football, handball and rugby under the guidance of specialised sports pedagogues. Every six weeks, a new theme takes centre stage. From 'Art' – during which we organise creative workshops – to 'Animals', for which we visit a farm, and 'Music', during which musicians fill our rooms with sound. The activities and the decoration of the BSO fit perfectly with the current theme and are age-appropriate. For the upper-year group, we actively involve the children in thinking along and making decisions through our child participation programme. During school holidays, we regularly go on trips; for this we use public transport or our own BSO minibus. Our team consists of familiar faces: almost all pedagogical staff work as teaching assistants at school during the day and therefore spend the whole day with your child. In this way, we offer continuity, recognition and a warm nest where children feel at home.
