BSO Grashoppers

BSO Grashoppers is located in the charming clubhouse of hockey club MHV Maarssen at Oostwaard 32 in Maarssen. Our location is situated among sports fields within walking distance of the Op Buuren neighborhood. We provide after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. Sports and play are central to our program. Children can explore different sports and discover what they enjoy. Our childcare staff all have sports training and guide the children three days a week. For younger children, it's mainly about play and fun, while older children develop further through play. We believe it's important for children to learn that exercise is healthy and fun. In addition to sports, we also offer other activities. We have access to a classroom and craft room, an auditorium and a gym. There is an extensive and varied range of toys and materials that stimulate children's development. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens, based on four pillars: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment and being together. Children from primary school de Pionier can come to us. In addition, all children who are allowed to cycle independently from school to the after-school care can also be placed at BSO Grashoppers. We pick up children and bring them to the after-school care, so parents can work without worry. Our location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 913281037 since January 17, 2010. We are part of Stichting Kindercentra Midden Nederland Kind & Co.
