Prokino After-School Care Geert Grote is located inside the Geert Grote broad school in Zwolle. For many children it is already a familiar place where they quickly feel at home. Our pedagogical staff personally pick up the youngest children after school in the same building, ensuring a calm and enjoyable transition from school to leisure time. We provide before- and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Every afternoon we offer a varied programme in which the child is free to choose. Nature experience and physical activity are central: we go outside as much as possible and organise sports activities. Through the DOENKids! programme we run structured sports and play activities that challenge children to play and work together. A regular feature are our outings to Doepark Nooterhof, where children discover nature and sustainability in a playful way. Within the programme children can decide for themselves whether to join a group activity or do something on their own. We believe it is important to give children the space to make their own choices, both literally and figuratively. Our location has 80 places and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2010 under number 767723272. We work closely with Geert Grote primary school, keeping lines short and ensuring we know the children well.
