Feestkasteel

BSO Feestkasteel is located in the same building as primary schools De Krullevaar and Het Veldhuis in the Veldhuizen district of De Meern. We use the middle entrance between both schools. Our location offers small-scale childcare with plenty of play and activity space for children aged 4 to 12. Our space is divided into three separate areas. In the first area you'll find a play camper, play kitchen and construction corner where children can let their imagination run wild. The second area has tables where children can enjoy eating, crafting and playing together. The third area features two comfortable couches where children can quietly read a book or comic. For our older children (8+) we have a specially designed space where they can retreat with peers to read or play together. Additionally, we have a craft room, play hall and a large outdoor playground with play equipment shared with primary schools De Krullevaar and Het Veldhuis. During winter months we regularly rent the municipal gymnasium for sports and game activities. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children space to feel comfortable and have fun, as this forms the basis for development. We provide a rich environment where play equals discovery and learning. Our childcare is a mini-society where we care for each other. Children from De Krullevaar, Pantarijn, Shri Krisha and Het Veldhuis are warmly welcome at BSO Feestkasteel. During school holidays we work with themed weeks and make fun excursions. Every day children can choose from craft activities, sports and games, or simply enjoy free play. With us, you'll never be bored!
