BSO Egel provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in the centre of Nieuwegein. We are located inside the Lucas Galecop school building at Aert de Gelderhage 3, allowing children to walk straight into a familiar environment after classes. The centre has two group rooms, so we can place children in age-based groups: 4-7 years and 8-12 years. This keeps the atmosphere cosy and ensures activities match each age group’s needs. Children have access to a gym, a computer room, a construction room and an art studio. These spaces offer plenty of opportunities for sports, creative activities and technology. We organise sports activities and even provide swimming lessons during BSO hours. In addition, we use the playgrounds of Lucas Galecop school and Koningin Julianaschool, as well as the green strip behind the BSO and the football pitch next to the school. For before-school care we welcome children on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. in the Lucas Galecop school. We work closely with Lucas Galecop school and Koningin Julianaschool, so children from both schools can use our services. Our qualified staff are ready to give every child a safe and stimulating afternoon where relaxation and development go hand in hand.
