BSO De Steenarend

BSO De Steenarend is located in the cultural center Het Lichtruim at Planetenplein 2 in Bilthoven. We share the building with Christian Primary School Wereldwijs, with whom we work closely to ensure a seamless transition from school to after-school care. Our location accommodates 40 children aged 4 to 12 years. The spaces at BSO De Steenarend are bright and spacious thanks to large windows that create a natural atmosphere. We have created a special discovery garden designed entirely to stimulate the senses. This garden serves as an extension of our indoor space where children can play, discover and relax. Our pedagogical staff work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children the space to be themselves and discover who they are. We organize activities around changing themes in collaboration with the local library and art house. These partnerships provide our children with additional opportunities to develop their creativity and discover new interests. Younger children have plenty of opportunities to make new friends and play together. Older children can relax on the couch with a book, magazine or music. There is always enough space to play with friends or to enjoy some quiet time alone. During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30, so parents can rely on our care during vacation periods as well.
