Buitenschoolse opvang De School is fully integrated into De School primary school at Dr Jac P Thijsseweg 24 in Zandvoort. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 within a unique concept where education and care are seamlessly woven together. Children do not leave school to enter childcare; they remain part of one living and learning community in which the day is rhythmically and meaningfully structured. Our care is available every school day from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parents can choose from several packages: 2-, 3-, 4- or 5-day after-school care until 6:00 p.m., including holiday care. There is also a 0-day package covering only lunch-time care and the voluntary parental contribution. Extra care days can be booked flexibly at an hourly rate of €11.35. Both school and care are closed during the Christmas holiday and the last two weeks of the summer holiday. Communication with parents runs through our parent communication app KWIEB, where parents also report illness or holiday leave. Our care coordinator is available on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for any questions. We believe parents are indispensable partners in children’s development. Through the participation council, activities committee and parental involvement we jointly create a warm, safe place where children feel at home and can develop to their full potential.
