Buitenschoolse opvang De Coole Kikkers

Welcome to BSO De Coole Kikkers, located at De Insel 23 in Brunssum-Oost. We are part of the Brede School Bronsheim and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. In the same building you will also find day-care centre Rollebol and playgroup Pimpeloentje, creating a familiar, continuous line from baby to school age. Before school, after school and during holidays we organise countless fun activities. The day starts calmly with before-school care: whoever wishes can have breakfast and ease into the day. After school our pedagogical staff pick up the youngest children from primary school; older children walk or cycle to us. We work with vertical groups: children aged 4 to 13 are together, while the programme is always tailored to the different age groups. During holidays we offer a special holiday programme; we are also open on teacher training days and staff development days. Our large, challenging outdoor area invites romping, football and discovery. We value outdoor play, yet children are free to choose whether to go outside. Inside we have a separate group room and a shared play hall that we use together after the eating and drinking break. Together with the children we create a varied programme every day, with room for both rest and action. In short: at BSO De Coole Kikkers children have the space to be themselves, discover new things and make good friends, always under the guidance of familiar faces.
