Buitenschoolse opvang de Boomhut

Welcome to Buitenschoolse opvang de Boomhut, located at Ockenburg 44 in Dordrecht. We are part of Centrale Organisatie Kinderopvang Drechtsteden (COKD) and provide after-school care for up to 57 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is housed in the same building as De Keerkring Primary School, making the transition from school to after-school care smooth and familiar. Children from nearby Het Avontuur Primary School also join us daily. At de Boomhut, freedom and choice are key. After a long school day, children decide for themselves what they feel like doing. Our bright and spacious group areas feature various play corners: from a quiet reading nook to a doll corner and even an air hockey table. We also have access to the school’s gymnasiums and stage, so there’s always something to do—even when the weather is poor. Outdoor play is just as important to us. We have a large outdoor playground with play equipment, an artificial-turf football field, a table tennis table, and a basketball area. When the weather allows, we love to be outside. During school holidays, we run a themed programme with special activities and regular outings. In summer, we even go camping together. Another great feature: children can take swimming lessons during BSO hours at Optisport Dordrecht. Our pedagogical staff drop off and pick up the children, saving parents extra time.
