Welcome to BSO & Ko, our small-scale after-school care located at Spoel 151G in the heart of Emmer-Compascuum. We are part of Kindercentrum Uk & Puk, a trusted name in the region that has been providing children with a warm home away from home for years. Children from all primary schools in Emmer-Compascuum come together here after school to relax, play and grow. As soon as the school bell rings, we pick up the children and bring them to our homely location. There, a cookie, a cup of tea and especially lots of attention awaits them. We believe it's important that every child can share how their day was and what they experienced. BSO time is free time: time to play with peers, be creative or simply do nothing at all. Our activity program is intentionally not too full. After an intensive school day, children mainly need rest and relaxation. We offer thematic projects, organize sports and games activities and collaborate with sports clubs, the library and the swimming pool. During holidays we make trips to playgrounds, museums or other fun places in the region. Everything is done in consultation with the children, as their wishes are central. We work in small, mixed groups so every child gets the space to be themselves. Our pedagogical staff know every child and are ready with a listening ear. Cooperation, respect for each other and developing social skills form the basis of our daily approach. We actively involve parents in the care and maintain personal contact about their child's development. BSO & Ko is there for all children aged 4 to 13 from Emmer-Compascuum. We provide care after school, during study days and in holidays. Transport to and from school is included. With us, your child gets the rest, attention and challenge they need to develop optimally.
