Bellewite

BSO Bellewite is located inside Montessori School Buiten Wittevrouwen at Schoolplein 6 in Utrecht. We provide after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12. Our location comprises two base groups that use different spaces within the school. On the first floor is a playroom that is converted daily into a welcoming BSO area. It features cupboards full of play materials and a stage that sparks children's imagination and invites creative play. On the ground floor, the second base group uses a classroom that doubles as a kindergarten room during school hours and transforms after school into a relaxed space where children can lounge on the sofa with comics, play games or join focused activities. An adjoining back room houses play corners such as a doll corner and construction area. The school library is also part of our facilities. The fully enclosed schoolyard borders directly on our care facility and is used daily. It contains play equipment, a sandbox and plenty of space to kick a ball or ride a bike. We compile an activities programme for every holiday so that children have a varied offer during school-free days as well. We work closely with Montessori School Buiten Wittevrouwen to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
