Asterix & Obelix

Asterix & Obelix after-school care is located in the clubhouse of athletics club Clytoneus at Waardsedijk 29 in Woerden. We provide care for up to 25 children aged 8 to 12. Many children cycle to our BSO on their own; the rest are collected from school by bike by our pedagogical staff. When the children arrive we enjoy a drink and a piece of fruit together while chatting about the day and deciding what everyone would like to do that afternoon. After that it is time for movement and play. We make full use of the large grass field, the table-tennis table, the competition pit and the long-jump pits that we turn into a real sandbox. Inside you will find a cosy reading corner, table football and all kinds of board games. Creative children can use a separate arts & crafts room with paper, paint, clay and many more materials. Children who want to do their homework in peace can use the quiet study room. Our BSO works together with primary schools Achtsprong, Johan Friso and Molenwiek. Do you attend another school? Feel free to contact us and we will look at the possibilities together. We are also open during school holidays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, so children can play, move and relax all day long. In short, Asterix & Obelix is the place for children who love to move, play and be creative. We provide a safe, challenging environment where every child feels at home.
