Welcome to BSO BuitenGewoon, located at Raadhuisplein 1 in the historic centre of Woudrichem. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang BuitenGewoon and provide before-, after- and between-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our staff pick the children up on foot or with our own minibuses from the primary schools nearby, so parents can work or study without worry. Everything we do is centred on a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child is free to be themselves. Our core values are respect, safety, security and space. After school the children head straight outside to our spacious playground and adjacent nature area; we believe that running around in the fresh air is the best way to clear mind and heart. Only then do we sit down together and decide what to do that afternoon: crafts, sports, reading or simply chilling out. Since this year we also serve warm meals in partnership with Apetito. From Monday to Friday children can join the hot-lunch table, making evenings at home a little calmer. During school holidays we are open all day from 07:30 to 18:30. We occasionally organise outings or workshops, but children are also free to play and choose their own activities. We trust that children learn from each other and discover their own talents when given space and confidence. Parents are always welcome for a coffee and a tour.
