BSO Zuidwester

Welcome to BSO Zuidwester, located on the grounds of De Zuidwester Primary School at Marterrade 312 in the Bouwlust district of The Hague. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar and safe environment. Because we are located in the same building as the primary school, the transition from school to after-school care feels natural and secure for the children. Our location features a spacious schoolyard where children can play and move freely. We also make use of the gymnasium and other school facilities, such as the technology classroom and the media library. This offers plenty of opportunities for sports activities, creative workshops, and exploratory learning. We regularly organize outings and themed activities, both indoors and outdoors. Think of ice skating lessons, cooking workshops, or nature excursions. We believe it is important for children to be themselves and discover their talents. Our pedagogical staff actively involve children in shaping the activity program. There is ample room for personal input and interests. We encourage collaboration, friendship, and independence. During school holidays and study days, we are open from 07:30 to 18:30. We then offer a varied holiday program where children of different ages come together and explore new things. BSO Zuidwester works closely with parents and the school. We highly value parental involvement and regularly invite parents to join activities or conversations. Together, we create a warm and safe place where children enjoy spending time.
