BSO Zuidlaren IKC De Schuthoek

Welcome to BSO Zuidlaren IKC De Schuthoek, a warm and safe after-school care facility located within De Schuthoek primary school at Julianalaan 67 in Zuidlaren. We are part of Kids First Kinderopvang NL B.V. and provide care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12. Together with the school, we form an Integral Child Centre (IKC), ensuring a seamless transition between school and after-school care. Our location is situated on the edge of Zuidlaren, surrounded by nature and green spaces. We offer a well-organised indoor space and a secure outdoor play area. Children also have access to the large schoolyard for outdoor activities. They can play freely or take part in themed activities aligned with the school curriculum. Together with the school, we maintain vegetable gardens where children learn about plants, herbs, and sustainability. We believe in creating a familiar and safe environment where children feel at home. Our qualified staff provide a space for relaxation, play, and development. We regularly organise local outings, such as feeding ducks at the Brillenvijver pond or shopping in Zuidlaren’s town centre for themed projects. During school holidays and study days, we are open from 7:00 to 18:00 to support working parents. BSO Zuidlaren IKC De Schuthoek has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 30 September 2017 under LRK number 126492487. We are supervised by the GGD Drenthe and meet all legal quality standards.
