Zo op 't Stavertje

Welcome to Zo op ’t Stavertje, our homely after-school care centre in Stavenisse. We are located at Schoolstraat 3, right next to primary schools De Schalm and Rehobothschool. From here we pick the children up after school and bring them safely to our green, cosy care space with a large playground right outside. Children aged 4 to 12 are welcome in our mixed group of up to 8 children. Two regular pedagogical staff members work with the same group composition every week, so your child always sees familiar faces and quickly feels at home. Our BSO is open 40 school weeks and 6 holiday weeks (spring, May, summer and autumn). In the remaining holiday weeks you can use our location at Brede School Tholen. After school we start with a healthy meal and briefly discuss the day. Then we head outside: playing in the playground, romping on the schoolyard or exploring the village. After plenty of exercise we cook, craft or play games indoors. We pay a lot of attention to language stimulation by reading books together and offer the VVE programme Pyramide to support language development in a playful way. Our core values are Sustainable, Growth, Fun and Connection. We teach children about nature and sustainability and stimulate their development in all areas. At the end of the afternoon there is always a piece of raw vegetables ready and the children can continue playing quietly until they are picked up.
