Zo Leerzaam

BSO Zo Leerzaam is the after-school care facility of Startpunt International, located at Suze Robertsonstraat 103 in the Schilderswijk district of The Hague. We provide care for up to 26 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our after-school care is open Monday through Friday from 14:30 to 18:00. On Wednesday afternoons, we open at 12:30, following the continuous schedule of Startpunt International where children have Wednesday afternoons off. Sports are central to our approach. We collaborate with trainers from Zo Sportief who guide sports activities during school breaks. This seamlessly connects with our after-school activities where we challenge children to move, play and develop athletic skills. We use the Social Schools app for communication with parents. Through this app, parents can report their child sick, request leave and stay informed about special events and activities. Our pedagogical approach is documented in our pedagogical policy plan where we work from four basic objectives: providing emotional safety, challenging children playfully in their development, guiding social skills and conveying values and norms. Our pedagogical staff have a warm and supportive attitude towards all children. BSO Zo Leerzaam is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 316231964 and is supervised by the GGD Haaglanden.
