Welcome to Zo aan de Strijplaan, the brand-new after-school care (BSO) in Rijswijk for children aged 4 to 12. Our location consists of two separate houses: one specially designed for the younger BSO children (4 – 6 years) and the other for the older children (6 – 12 years). This way we can tailor activities and atmosphere perfectly to the age and interests of your child. At Zo aan de Strijplaan the focus is on activity and development. We have created several activity-oriented rooms. In our painting studio children can discover their creative talents, while the construction studio introduces them to technology and handicrafts. Our cooking workshop is the place where the most delicious meals are prepared and children learn about healthy food. Nature lovers can explore our green laboratory full of discoveries about the world around us. Additionally we offer a multimedia room where children playfully learn to deal with digital media and a stage where they can perform and develop expressive skills. Finally there is a quiet homework room for those who want to work on school assignments after school. We believe it is important that children learn to make their own choices. After a joint start they sign themselves up for an activity in one of our rooms. In this way we stimulate independence and personal responsibility. Of course there is also room to just relax after a long school day. Outdoor play is also part of our program. We regularly get a breath of fresh air in nature and make fun trips in the neighborhood, such as to the Pirate Playground. This way we stay active and discover the world around us. We pick up children from De Fontein, De Gantel, De Waterlelie and Maria Montessori School. Parents stay informed about their child's experiences through our parent app. This way you won't miss anything about your child's development!
