BSO Zilvermaan - Bloemstede

BSO Zilvermaan – Bloemstede is located right next to De Zilvermaan primary school at Bloemstede 225 in Maarssen. We provide after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 in one vertical group. Children walk straight from their classroom into our space within the same building, making the transition quick and familiar. Our pedagogical approach is built on the “Pedagogisch Hart” (Pedagogical Heart) of Kind&co ludens. We focus on four core values: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, a rich environment, and being together. Everything we do – from serving a healthy snack to guiding a group project – is designed to make children feel safe and valued. Only then can they be curious, learn and support one another. The group room is arranged with challenging corners for construction, play, crafts and quiet time. We often work with themes that connect to the children’s world of experience. We also make regular use of the gym and playground of De Zilvermaan, ensuring there is always enough space to move. Occasionally we organise workshops or small outings in the immediate area. Our team consists of regular childcare staff who already know the children from school. Short lines of communication with teachers and parents are important to us. At the end of the afternoon you will receive a brief update through the Parro app about how the day went. Parents are warmly invited to share ideas for activities or to come and talk about their work or hobby. BSO Zilvermaan – Bloemstede is open on all school days of De Zilvermaan. During teacher training days and school holidays we cooperate with other Kind&co locations in the region, so your child always has childcare.
