IKC Willibrord

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of IKC Willibrord located at Esperantolaan 2 in Stadskanaal. We are part of Primenius Opvang and provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our facility is located in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment after school hours. Our BSO offers a diverse range of activities that match the interests and development of the children. We work with the DoenKids program, through which we provide activities in creativity, sports and movement, nature, technology, music, dance and drama. We also regularly organize excursions and field trips. Children can participate in sports activities, crafts, building, nature play or simply enjoy free play. We have our own outdoor space where children can run around and play. When weather permits, we spend a lot of time outside. The care takes place in and around the school building, so children are familiar with the space and feel at home quickly. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the school teachers. This way we know the children well and can adjust the care to what they experienced during the day. We find it important that children feel safe and secure with us. Therefore we work with familiar faces and maintain clear agreements and house rules. Parents can use care services before and after school hours. The transition between school and BSO runs smoothly as we are located in the same building. We are open to all children from the neighborhood and work together with various primary schools in Stadskanaal.
