BSO Wilhelminaoord is a small-scale after-school care facility located in the heart of Wilhelminaoord, housed in the village community center 'Ons Dorpshuis' at Linthorst Homanstraat 14. We are part of Kinderopvang KaKa, an organization with over 25 years of experience providing childcare services throughout Drenthe. Our BSO is situated just 100 meters from OBS De Kievitshoek, ensuring seamless coordination with school hours. We provide care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our spaces are carefully designed to meet the needs of this age group. We feature a main BSO room of 69.11 m², a smaller activity room of 25 m², and recently added the 'tower room' on the upper floor (21 m²). This new space is specifically designated for quiet activities such as drawing, puzzles, and other creative pursuits. All areas are safely equipped with smoke detectors, stair gates, and secure storage facilities. Our outdoor play area is directly adjacent to the community center and shared with the daycare facility. Here, children can play safely under the supervision of our professional childcare staff. We maintain consistent staffing with familiar faces, creating a trusted and secure environment for your child. At BSO Wilhelminaoord, each child's development is our central focus. We provide a warm, homely atmosphere where children can relax after their school day. Our pedagogical staff are attentive to each child's individual needs and offer activities aligned with their interests and developmental stage. We operate according to a clear pedagogical policy that is regularly adapted to accommodate our growing group and changing needs. Flexibility is one of our key priorities. We understand that parents sometimes face changing schedules, which is why we offer the possibility of swap days, subject to availability. Our costs are transparent: you only pay for the actual contracted hours, without additional charges per session. BSO Wilhelminaoord is recognized by GGD Drenthe and registered in the National Childcare Register under number 184248504. We work closely with OBS De Kievitshoek and other schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care.
