Atalenta BSO Wilderen

Welcome to Atalenta BSO Wilderen, located at Meester Slootsweg 1 in Waalre. Our child centre houses day-care, toddler care and after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 under one roof. We work closely with primary school De Wilderen, so after lessons children simply walk through to a familiar place where they are cared for by our pedagogical professionals. Our after-school groups are organised by age: lower-primary BSO (4-6 years) has a maximum of 21 children per group, upper-primary BSO (7 years and older) has up to 26 children. Each group is led by two regular pedagogical staff who know the children well and understand what they need. We run six-week themes that connect with the children’s world, including creative activities, sports and games, and challenging workshops offered especially during holiday periods. Several times a week our regular PE teacher runs sports sessions in Hoeveland sports hall. He already knows the children from school and knows exactly how to challenge and motivate them. We also make extensive use of our spacious outdoor area where children can run around, play football or simply enjoy the grass. We believe it is important that children can be themselves and follow their own rhythm. That is why we provide a homely atmosphere after school with familiar faces and trusted routines. Parents follow everything via our Kidsadmin app: photos of activities, notifications if a child is sick, or simply a daily report.
