Wee-Play Montfort BSO

We are Wee-Play Montfort BSO, located at Sportlaan 7 in Montfort, inside the building of primary school De Hovenier. Our team provides after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. We are open on school days from 06:30 to 08:30 and from 15:15 to 19:00. During school holidays, study days and incidental care we cooperate with other Wee-Play locations so that a familiar place is always available for your child. Our pedagogical staff work from four core goals: providing emotional safety, promoting personal competence, stimulating social skills and passing on norms and values. We give children space to make their own choices within clear boundaries. They decide how to spend their afternoon, learn to solve small conflicts themselves and help during meals. Older children may, with parental consent, play outside independently or eat separately with supervision from a distance. Activities vary daily and weekly. We regularly offer dance, drama and cultural outings. There is also plenty of room for sports and games in our own garden or on the school playground. During holiday weeks we organise cross-location programmes with excursions; think of a day in a play forest, a sports clinic or a creative workshop. For all these activities we arrange transport and a familiar pedagogical staff member from our location is always present. We value warm cooperation with parents. Each group has a fixed mentor who gets to know the child and the family well. The mentor follows your child’s development and well-being, carries out observations and is the first point of contact. We schedule a parent meeting once a year; in between you can always get in touch. You also have access to our parent portal where you can request care, arrange swap days and view photos and reports. Healthy food is part of our vision. We serve a balanced lunch consisting of wholemeal bread, toppings, milk or water and fresh fruit. Does your child have an allergy or dietary requirement?
