Waterlopers

Welcome to BSO Waterlopers, located at Cantharel 10 in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are part of Junis Kinderopvang and offer a unique after-school care program in and around Aquarijn swimming pool. Movement and sports are central to our approach, but we do much more than just swimming and water activities. Our pedagogical staff pick up children on foot from primary schools within walking distance. For schools located further away, we use our own (bike) vans or collaborate with a taxi company. We collect children from Het Spectrum (Batenstein and Honingzwam), SWS Vivace Liszthof, De Stromen (Batenstein), Vrije School Ridderspoor, Hobbitburcht (Batenstein and Havixhorst), De Mare Schelfhorst, and An Noer. After school, there is plenty of room for relaxation and development. We do arts and crafts, build huts, dress up, and cook in the kitchen of the community center. We also love to play outside, explore the park, and go on adventures in the neighborhood. A swimming diploma is required so that all children can safely participate in our water activities such as snorkeling and rescue swimming. BSO Waterlopers is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 2:15 PM to 6:30 PM. During school holidays, we offer holiday care from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We provide children aged 8 to 13 with a safe, sporty, and creative place to grow and have fun after school.
