BSO Waterkanjers

BSO Waterkanjers is located in public primary school De Sterrenkijker at Drossaardslaan 72 in Leerdam. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location accommodates up to 48 children and is open every school day from the end of school until 18:30. We pick up children from Floris Radewijnsz, Koningin Wilhelmina, Sterrenkijker Leerdam and J. Calvijnschool. In the school wing you will find Campus Noord: a makers lab and music studio that we started together with three schools from the north of Leerdam. The materials are carefully chosen so that children can explore and experiment independently. Here they can playfully discover and develop their talents in technology and music. Outside we have a large playground with horizontal bars, a basketball hoop and plenty of space to play football. Inside there is a cozy space where children can play games, participate in organized activities or quietly read a book. Our activities range from sports and games, cooking workshops, crafts to technology projects in the makers lab. We always tailor the offer to the age and interests of the children. Dichtbij Kinderopvang stands for professional, social after-school care close to home. Our expert pedagogical staff provide a safe environment where children can develop. We also offer before-school care from 7:00 AM and care during study days and school holidays. On Wednesdays we have immediate availability without a waiting list.
