Wasko Oranje Nassau KC BSO

Wasko Oranje Nassau KC BSO is located at Kleine Waal 4 in Papendrecht and is part of Kindcentrum Oranje-Nassau. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13, both before and after school hours and during all school holidays. Our location works closely with Oranje-Nassau primary school, so children can come to us straight after class in a safe and familiar environment. We believe that after an intensive school day children need rest, relaxation and challenge. That is why we offer a varied programme of activities through DoenKids: an activity library full of sports, games, creative and technical activities, nature and music projects and cooking workshops. The children choose what they want to do – from football in our garden to crafting, building or taking part in a cooking challenge. In this way we stimulate their curiosity, independence and social skills. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day with personal attention. We accommodate a maximum of 22 children per group, so that every child feels seen and safe. We work from a Christian identity: we sometimes start the afternoon with a short moment of silence or a Bible story, teach respect for one another and pay attention to Christian holidays. Healthy food and lots of outdoor play are part of this: fresh fruit is ready every day and we go outside, even when it rains. Parents can easily register their child via www.wasko.nl.
