VSO Wingerd

Welcome to VSO Wingerd, the before-school care of Stichting Quadrant Kindercentra located at Van Beethovenlaan 35 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. Starting February 2025, we provide before-school care for children aged 4 to 13 in a familiar, safe environment. We are located within De Wingerd primary school, allowing children to get to know the surroundings and our pedagogical staff at the same place where they will attend school. Our before-school care is designed to give children a calm and relaxed start to their school day. From 7:30 AM until school starts, our pedagogical staff are ready to welcome the children. We offer a pleasant start to the day with some fruit and a drink, after which we accompany the children to school. For children from the Van Beethovenlaan location who need after-school care, we organize a daily BSO bus to the Kroonkruid location, ensuring they can still make use of our after-school care. At VSO Wingerd, fun and development are central. We regularly organize enjoyable activities such as cooking, crafts, and sports games, always tailored to the children's interests. The children have a say in how the program is filled. Our spaces are comfortably furnished, and we use the school playground and the nearby park with basketball and football fields. During holidays and study days, we offer an adapted vacation program with fun outings and activities. As a parent, you stay informed about all activities and developments of your child through our Parent app. We share photos and messages, so you can also follow along from work. VSO Wingerd is part of Stichting Quadrant Kindercentra, a non-profit social organization with over 25 years of experience in providing childcare in Gouda and the surrounding areas.
