BSO Vroondaal

Welcome to BSO Vroondaal, a cozy after-school care full of adventures on the edge of the Madestein nature reserve in The Hague. We are located in a modern building at Bertrand Russelllaan 16-18, where we form one child center together with education. This means that children aged 4 to 12 can use all available spaces throughout the day. Our BSO is open on school days from 13:45 to 18:30. During school holidays, Wednesday afternoons and study days we are already open from 7:30 to 18:30. We also offer before-school care (VSO) from 7:30 to 8:30. Children can come to the BSO independently or accompanied after school. Upon arrival, they choose where their needs lie: playing outside or taking a moment for themselves to acclimatize after a busy school day. We work with horizontal age groups. The lower grades consist of groups Yellow, Orange, Red and Green for children aged 4-6. The upper grades include groups Silver, Gold and Light Blue for children from 7 years old. Each group has a fixed pedagogical employee and a maximum group size of 21 to 26 children, depending on age. Every day we offer development-oriented activities. After the joint table moment with fruit, vegetables and a drink, children can choose which activity they want to participate in. Think of sports in the playroom, crafts or outdoor activities in nature. During holidays and Wednesday afternoons we combine groups and organize extra excursions. For excursions outside the grounds, children wear a recognizable gro-up vest with their name and our phone number. We find cooperation with parents very important. Through the gro-up parent portal you can read along in your child's diary, view photos and easily request extra days or report sick. We organize annual parent meetings, viewing moments in the group and a joint meeting for parents and children. We also have a parent committee that thinks along about the quality of care. Our pedagogical employees are enthusiastic and involved. They tailor their guidance to the developmental needs of each child and create a safe environment in which children can develop optimally. Together with parents, we ensure that your child is not only professionally cared for, but also experiences fun and challenging things.
