Villa Fonkel

Welcome to Villa Fonkel, the largest location of Voor dag en Dou right in the centre of Oosterwolde! Our spacious building at Bareldsburglaan 4-5 houses two after-school care groups with a total of 43 places for children aged 4 to 12. We believe children develop best when they can play, explore and learn in a familiar environment. That is why we work in a development-oriented way: we focus on broad developmental goals and tailor activities to each child’s needs. Our professional staff are knowledgeable, caring and ready to challenge and guide every child. After school it is time to relax and discover. We offer a varied programme with sports & games, nature and technology activities, and creative workshops. Regular excursions to fun places in the region are also part of the experience. A warm meal is served so everyone has energy for the afternoon. Parents do not have to worry about pick-up and drop-off: we collect children from schools in the Ooststellingwerf area and bring them safely to Villa Fonkel.
