Vlietkinderen Kajuit

Welcome to Kindcentrum Kajuit, part of Vlietkinderen, located at Leenkamp 11A in Leidschendam. We provide after-school care (BSO) and toddler care for children aged 2 to 13. Our core values are fun, respect, and development. Our location is a place where children experience a 'second home' after school. A place where they can relax after the school day and participate in fun, challenging, and creative activities. We believe children should be able to discover and develop their own talents. That's why we have an atelier where children can work on technology and creativity. Our sports and play activities ensure social interaction and strengthen physical skills. We believe nutrition should be fun and educational. That's why we grow vegetables in our garden, harvest together, cook, and eat together at the table. At KC Kajuit, the emphasis is on 'green childcare'. Children who play and move outside a lot are healthier and happier. We offer plenty of space for 'risky play'. Of course, we keep safety in mind, but we give children space to push their boundaries. This stimulates their self-confidence and improves their ability to assess risks. We work with an educational policy focused on the development of children in today's society. We hope that children have a great time with us and take something with them on their way to tomorrow's world. Our location accommodates up to 160 children and we use the Vlietkinderen parent app to keep parents involved in their child's experiences.
