BSO Vilniusstraat

Hero BSO Vilniusstraat is located in the modern community centre Wijzer at Vilniusstraat 2 in Haarlem. This after-school care facility provides a welcoming space for up to 16 children aged 4 to 13. Our dedicated pedagogical staff work together with the children to make every after-school day special. Every child is unique, with their own character, needs and pace of development. At Hero Kindercentra, we believe it is important for children to discover who they are. Our staff offer them the opportunity and support to develop optimally and have fun together. Some children love playing football outside or hide-and-seek, while others prefer relaxing with friends or reading on the sofa. Creative activities, drama, cooking or sports – everything is possible at our after-school care. Because BSO is the place where you do fun things after school and during holidays, together with your friends. Hero organises all kinds of fun activities and workshops, but there is also room for relaxation after a long school day. Children are free to choose their own path. If a child enjoys it, they can join an activity, but they don't have to. Inventing your own game? Climbing on the playground? Getting some homework done? That's all possible too. We love to challenge children with age-appropriate activities. Younger children often enjoy dressing up and playing tag, while older children prefer cooking together or playing 'Live Stratego'. When children arrive at BSO, there's always a moment to have a drink together with a cracker or some fruit. This gives children the chance to share their stories before they start playing. We believe in healthy and tasty food. Our varied offering consists of products with sufficient nutrients and vitamins, and when fresh isn't possible, without refined sugars and as few chemical additives as possible, such as colourings, flavourings and preservatives. We create this varied offering together with nutrition experts and advice from the nutrition centre. Children are free to choose within the available options. During holidays, Hero Kindercentra offers a fantastic holiday programme. On the location itself and for older children (from group 5) at various central locations in the city. This means the most fun activities and outings throughout the holidays for an unforgettable time.
