BSO Villa Valentijn Middelburg

Welcome to BSO Villa Valentijn Middelburg, our homely after-school care located at Korte Burg 3, right at the foot of the famous Lange Jan tower. Since 2022 we have offered a trusted place where up to 22 children aged 4 to 13 can relax, play and grow after school. Our BSO is set up like a cosy living room with three welcoming spaces. Children decide for themselves whether they want to read quietly, do crafts, finish homework or play actively outside. We follow a gentle daily rhythm: after school we first share a snack and drink, then enjoy free play or an activity, and at the end of the afternoon we close the day together with a cracker and a drink. This gives both structure and freedom. Behind our building lies a spacious, green city garden – safely walled and full of possibilities. Here children can run around, garden or simply share their stories in the fresh air. We see every child: the one who needs quiet and the one who needs to burn off energy. Our professional pedagogical staff are ready with attention, a listening ear and a smile. At BSO Villa Valentijn everything revolves around security, personal choice and fun.
