Villa Sprookjesland

Welcome to after-school care Villa Sprookjesland, part of gro-up childcare. We are located on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday inside the Montessori school building at Reigerlaan 64, Capelle aan den IJssel. At 13:15 our staff walk the children from primary school De Klim-op to our classroom; at 14:00 pupils from the Montessori school join us. We stay open until 18:30 and provide a safe, stimulating environment where children aged 4 to 12 can grow through play and discovery. Every afternoon our qualified pedagogical staff offer a varied programme tailored to the children’s ages and interests. Activities include creative arts and crafts, sports and movement sessions in the gym or on the playground, and nature education in our outdoor area. Children are placed in fixed base groups so they quickly feel at home with their friends and familiar educators. We also run themed weeks and work closely with the school to ensure continuous learning lines. Free parking is available around the school when you pick up your child. Enter the playground, walk all the way to the back right and you will find our entrance on the left. On Wednesdays and Fridays you will receive a separate contract; on these days the children are cared for at our sister locations Villa Wonderland or Villa Fantasia on Lijstersingel. Parents stay informed through the gro-up parent app with photos, newsletters and practical information. We look forward to sharing a wonderful, development-focused time with you and your child!
