Villa Roezemoes

Welcome to Villa Roezemoes, our cozy after-school care located in the heart of Appelscha. We are situated at Alle Wijtzesweg 53A, right next to the National Park Drents-Friese Wold. We provide care for up to 25 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our professional childcare staff welcomes the children every day after school with genuine warmth. We work with a consistent team of educators who truly know each child and understand their individual needs. The atmosphere is homely and intimate, making children feel at ease quickly. We believe it's important that children can relax after a day at school while also having opportunities to discover new things. Therefore, we offer a varied program of activities. Children can enjoy outdoor play in our large garden with playground equipment, participate in arts and crafts activities, play games together, or simply read quietly in a cozy corner. We often work with themes that include creative activities tailored to the children's world of experience. Healthy nutrition is important to us. We serve daily healthy snacks and fresh fruit. For children staying longer, we provide an extensive lunch including freshly prepared sandwiches. Parents stay informed through our parent app where we share photos and brief updates about the day's activities. For questions or special circumstances, we're always available - we're known for our personal approach and direct communication. At Villa Roezemoes, we collaborate with various primary schools in Appelscha and surrounding areas. We pick up children from school and safely bring them to our location. Here, children can unwind, make new friends, and have all the space to be themselves.
