Villa Kakelbont

Villa Kakelbont is our after-school care centre located at Zuiderveen 39 in Winschoten. We are part of childcare organisation Hummelstee and welcome up to 30 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. With us, nothing is compulsory and almost everything is allowed. Children spend their free time here together with friends in a relaxed, homely atmosphere. We offer two clear BSO lines: Nature BSO and Sports BSO. During Nature BSO children are free to build huts, observe animals and insects and discover natural materials. Sports BSO focuses on movement; every four weeks we introduce a new sport such as football, hockey, rugby, tennis, boxing or bootcamp, giving children the chance to try out a wide range of sports and develop their motor skills. Meals are provided by Herbs & Spices, who cook fresh, seasonal hot meals every weekday without refined sugars, excess salt or E-numbers. We also serve fresh fruit daily and offer water, milk or children’s tea. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe, welcoming environment where children can simply be themselves.
