Villa IJsseldijk

Villa IJsseldijk is our after-school care location in Ouderkerk aan den IJssel. We are located at IJsseldijk-Noord 123, right in the heart of the Krimpenerwaard polder. The group is small and intimate: we have room for a maximum of 20 children. Because of this size we truly know every child and can give plenty of personal attention. We are part of Waardse Kids Childcare, a trusted organisation that has been providing childcare in the region for many years. Our pedagogical staff are fully trained and work according to the guidelines of the Branch Organisation for Childcare. We are also a recognised training company; trainees walk among us and in turn bring fresh perspectives and extra helping hands. At Villa IJsseldijk everything revolves around having fun, playing together and finding calm after a busy school day. We use fixed rituals so children know exactly what to expect. The space is furnished like a home and invites relaxed play, crafts or reading. We make full use of the immediate surroundings: the polder, the dike and the village are our playground. We go outside regularly, take walks and explore nature. Parents experience us as approachable and personal; short lines of communication and openness are high on our list of priorities.
