Welcome to Villa Bloom Wassenaar B.V., our after-school care located in the historic Kievietschool building at Buurtweg 16 in Wassenaar. We provide after-school care for up to 54 children aged 4 to 12 years. As a fully bilingual after-school care, we create a rich language environment where our pedagogical professionals consistently speak both Dutch and English. This gives children a lasting advantage, both cognitively and socially. We work closely with Kievietschool and other primary schools in Wassenaar, ensuring a seamless transition from school to after-school care. At Villa Bloom, the development of school-age children is central. Our age-appropriate programs are tailored to the varied needs of children in primary school age. With challenging play materials and activities, we stimulate social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Children choose which activities they participate in, while we provide loving guidance to ensure they feel emotionally safe. Sustainability and nature experience are important pillars in our approach. We play outside every afternoon and regularly explore nature. The beautiful schoolyard and spacious gymnasium of Kievietschool offer numerous possibilities for activities. Within moments, you're in the middle of nature with forests and beaches within reach. Our location in Wassenaar offers a safe and stimulating environment where children can play, discover and grow after school. We use ecological materials and sustainable toys, making children aware of their environment.
