Vier Heemskinderen

BSO Vier Heemskinderen is a warm, small-scale after-school care facility located within De vier Heemskinderen primary school at Rondestraat 31 in Deursen-Dennenburg. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 in a familiar environment, ensuring a smooth and comfortable transition from school to after-school care. Thanks to our location within the school, we have access to all facilities, including classrooms, a craft room, a gym, and a large green playground. This space is a true oasis of challenges where children can play and explore freely. Our pedagogical approach centers around the child’s world of experience. We organize daily fun and engaging activities through DoenKids, offering both relaxation and development opportunities. Children can be active in the gym, get creative in the craft room, or enjoy outdoor play on the schoolyard. For older children, we’ve created a special teen corner where they can relax at their own pace or take part in group activities. We work closely with De vier Heemskinderen primary school and take part in school events such as the National Reading Breakfast and Sinterklaas celebrations. The small scale of our location creates a friendly, close-knit atmosphere. Children feel at home quickly, and parents appreciate the personal contact and short communication lines. We currently offer care on Tuesdays and are open to adding extra afternoons based on demand.
