Vandaag BSO Hallum

Welcome to VANDAAG BSO Hallum, located in the Integral Child Center It Fundamint at Offingaweg 32 in Hallum. We provide after-school care for up to 18 children aged 4 to 12 years. As part of VANDAAG Childcare, we operate from a shared pedagogical vision with talent development at its core. Our BSO is housed in an IKC (Integral Child Center), where school and childcare come together in one familiar environment. We believe that every child possesses unique talents and skills that we discover and further develop together. Our approach stimulates independence, creativity, and social behavior while honoring the individuality of each child. We offer a broad and varied program focused on cognitive, social-emotional, motor, and creative development. Our activities are designed to challenge and inspire children. We use risky play in a safe and controlled manner, allowing children to explore their boundaries and build self-confidence. Learning through play is central to our approach, with our pedagogical staff guiding children in their journey of discovery. Nature and sustainability are important themes in our program. We emphasize outdoor play so children can fully enjoy fresh air and the natural environment. We work with sustainable materials as much as possible and teach children to interact consciously with their surroundings in a playful way. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. For before-school care (VSO), we are open from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, with care from 6:30 AM possible by arrangement. This provides flexible childcare that meets the needs of parents and children in Hallum and the surrounding area.
