Kinderwoud De Tille

Welcome to Kinderwoud De Tille, our out-of-school care centre in the heart of Drachten. We are located at P.K. Pelstraat 1, on the same premises as Openbare Basisschool de Tille, with whom we work closely. This makes the transition from school to after-school care smooth and familiar for both children and parents. At Kinderwoud De Tille we provide care for school-age children from 4 to 13 years old. Our location has a capacity of 22 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 29 July 2019 under number 749932405. We offer before-school care (VSO) and after-school care on school days as well as during holidays and teacher training days. Our pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon to pick the children up from school and give them a safe, enjoyable afternoon. Kinderwoud stands for a warm, secure environment in which every child is SEEN. We work from our three core values: Security, Individuality and Self-development. Learning through play is central; through a varied range of activities children discover their talents and develop new skills. We align our themes with current events and regularly organise workshops or outings that match the children’s interests. Think of creative craft projects, sporting challenges or nature excursions in the Drachten area. Our location has its own outdoor playground and spacious classrooms where children can play, relax or do homework under supervision. We use the Parent App so that parents stay informed about their child’s daily experiences. Registration is possible via our website www.kinderwoud.nl or by contacting our cluster manager.
