Welcome to VANDAAG De Naturij! Our location at Oude Slingeweg 4 in Drachten is a true nature-based after-school care facility. We provide after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 12 years. As a franchise location of VANDAAG Childcare, we operate according to their quality standards and guidelines while being managed locally. Nature and animals are central to our approach. Children regularly visit the many animals found on our premises. Occasionally, they even get to help with feeding and caring for the animals. We are also often found in nature, building huts in the forest or playing fun games. The barefoot path is of course not to be missed! By regularly being in nature, children sharpen their senses and learn about their possibilities and boundaries. They experience weather changes and can marvel at growth and blooming. We collaborate with the Nature and Environment Center located on our premises. We use play materials from the center and help annually with creating a vegetable garden. The children assist with sowing, maintaining, and harvesting. Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 14:00 to 18:30. During school holidays, we are open from 8:00 to 18:30. VSO (before-school care) is available at another location.
