BSO van Haersma Buma

Welcome to BSO Hommerts, located inside the Van Haersma Buma school at De Hoep 45 in Hommerts. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 16 September 2024 under number 234317462 and offers places for up to 18 children. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland and work closely with Van Haersma Buma school. This allows children to move directly after school into a familiar environment where they can relax or engage in activities. We offer both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care (BSO). VSO is open Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 8:20 AM. BSO is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. If there is sufficient interest, we can also open on Friday afternoons. Our activities are aligned with the school's themes, creating a continuous learning line. We value calm and structure, providing an organized environment where children can explore and relax. Children can choose from various activities such as arts and crafts, drawing, cooking and baking, outdoor games and board games. We make extensive use of our green surroundings for outdoor play and excursions, especially during holidays. Parent communication is very important to us. With permission, we share photos in a parent app group so parents can see what their children have been doing. We are a bilingual location where both Dutch and Frisian are spoken.
