BSO Valkenburg

Welcome to BSO Valkenburg, located within Basisschool Valkenburg at Plenkertstraat 42 in Valkenburg. We are part of MIK & Spelenderwijs and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 years. Our location, formerly known as De Valkenburcht, is the perfect place where children can relax, play, and discover new things after school. At BSO Valkenburg, we work with two age groups: children aged 4 to 7 years and children aged 7 to 13 years. This structure ensures we can offer activities that perfectly match your child's developmental stage. We work closely with Basisschool Valkenburg, BS Heilig hart in Sibbe, and OBS Broekhem in Valkenburg, allowing us to pick up children directly after school. Our own group space first gives children the opportunity to quietly eat and drink with friends. Then the choice is theirs! Sports, outdoor play, cooking, painting, or simply reading - everything is possible and much is allowed. We provide fun activities every day while also offering space for children to make their own choices. For children aged 8 and above, we have created a special "Oktoplus corner" where cool girls and boys can chill, chat, or play computer games. We believe outdoor time is important! We make extensive use of the spacious outdoor playground for running, cycling, or playing games. We also regularly go on outings, because after a school day it's wonderful to let loose outside. During holidays, we frequently collaborate with BSO Bergerburcht, providing extra fun and variety. At BSO Valkenburg, we believe children develop best through play and discovery. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can be themselves and where there's room for both relaxation and challenge. Every day brings something fun to experience!
