Ús Boartersplakje

Welcome to Ús Boartersplakje, a small-scale after-school care facility located at De Bodding 12 in the heart of Frieschepalen. We provide a warm and familiar place where children aged 4 to 13 can relax, play and develop after school. Our goal is to create an environment where children feel safe, familiar and truly at home. A place where 'nothing is mandatory and everything is allowed', and where personal and social skills, norms and values are central. Our BSO is part of a combined group with a maximum of 16 children, working with a vertical group structure. This means children of different ages play and learn together, contributing to natural and social development. We have a spacious indoor area of at least 100 m² and an outdoor play area of at least 200 m². The garden is designed as an 'experience' garden, with a sandbox, climbing hill and a basketball net especially for our BSO children. We believe it's important that every child feels seen and heard. Our pedagogical staff provide personal attention and offer appropriate activities and materials tailored to the child's interests and needs. We don't follow a fixed concept, but follow the children in their curiosity and creativity. This allows them to discover and develop at their own pace and in their own way. Ús Boartersplakje is officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 146867853 and is supervised by GGD Fryslân.
